Micah P. Hinson
Well, it has been more than a whole year since the previous (online) update of this page. Please note that updates will appear only when I have new information to add and when I have time. Although this might be obvious to some, there are also people out there who seem to forget that this is not a job, but simply a labour of love by a regular fan who also has a life outside of the internet, like most of you I guess, erm hope ... Also note that this site and it's maker is not connected to the artist(s) in any way ... except for being a fan trying to keep track of what's out there ...

  2. Beneath The Rose
  3. Don't You (Part 1 & 2)
  4. The Possibilites
  5. As You Can See
  6. At Last, Our Promises
  7. I Still Remember

  11. You Lost Sight On Me
  12. Caught In Between
  13. The Day Texas Sank To The Bottom Of The Sea

Also issued as a promo CD (sketch006pr) in special sleeve with info sticker, and with different songtitles for tracks 1 (incl. typo), 3, and 10 (but these are the same songs as on the final release): Yourself Alseep Again / Don't You Forget / On My Way.

During early 2005 shows (and maybe before and/or after?) a demo version disc, Micah P. Hinson & The Gospel Of Progress Demos of the above album was sold!
It's just a printed CDR, no artwork, and came in a plastic sleeve (here's a photo of the disc). It had the same tracks as above PLUS two more: Can't Change a Thing / The Dreams Didn't Work Out Right.

Beneath The Rose

  1. Beneath The Rose
  2. The Possibilites (demo)
  3. Wasn't 'Til She Woke Up

Amazon UK lists this single as Beneath The Rose EP (resp. as sketchXX4 and sketchXX4D, and date of release December 27, 2004), each with the following 5 tracks!

  1. Beneath The Rose
  2. Dreams Didn't Work Out Right
  3. Wasn't Till She Woke Up
  4. Possibilities
  5. Same Old Shit

A 7" single with 5 tracks is unlikely to be out there, and other sources that list the CD-single with catalog number sketchXX4D all have 3 tracks only. However, a 5-track CD-single might have been announced at some point!? There is of course this 5th track, "Same Old Shit", that isn't available elsewhere, except for a 4-track promo CD (SketchXX4PR):

  1. Beneath The Rose
  2. The Dreams Didn't Work Out
  3. The Possibilities (original version)
  4. The Same Old Shit

This promotional release has been issued in both a brown and a beige colored sleeve. On the scans on the left, the brown one has come out a bit lighter than it actually is, while the beige one (which has been taken from an eBay auction) is presented a bit darker here.
