On this page I will try to compile a list of all known promotional releases. A part of the information below was taken from advertisements as published in the Record Collector magazine by mail order shops like Encore, Energy, Esprit/Eil, Opal, and others.

I would be really grateful if anyone could provide detailed information on any promotional release. Maybe something you have yourself? That's the most certain way to know the information is correct!

    Originally going to be The Charlatans second single, Polar Bear was postponed in favour of the 'Then' single. It was then assumed that it would be the band's third release, however, The Charlatans decided that they had moved on from the "Some Friendly" album. The song was soon scrapped and work began on new material. The next single was to be "Over Rising".

    Note: Side one of this 12" has the inscriptions "Damont", "JA" and SIT-74 TA, while side two is marked "Damont" and SIT-74-TB.
